Iron Status Profile
Measures ferritin, serum iron, transferrin and saturation. A fuller picture than ferritin alone.

What this tells you
Measures iron, ferritin (the body's stored iron) and the proteins that carry it. It distinguishes iron that is circulating now from iron held in reserve — a distinction a single iron figure cannot make.
Results are returned and explained privately by the clinic. Nothing is published on this website.
How to prepare
Iron is best measured in the morning, before food and before any iron supplement that day. Water is fine. If you take iron, tell us when booking so timing can be arranged.
If anything here is unclear, or you are unsure whether it applies to you, call +44 7830 704502 before your appointment and we will talk it through.
