Menopause Blood Test
Measures FSH, LH and oestradiol to describe where hormone levels currently sit. Often used alongside a record of symptoms and cycle history.

What this tells you
Measures the hormone markers associated with the menopausal transition, principally FSH and oestradiol, which shift as ovarian activity changes. It describes where your hormones sit at this moment; it is one piece of information alongside your symptoms and history, not a verdict on its own.
Results are returned and explained privately by the clinic. Nothing is published on this website.
How to prepare
No fasting needed, but timing matters. Female hormone results are read against the point in your menstrual cycle, so a member of the team will confirm the right day with you when you book. If your cycle is irregular or absent, tell us and we will advise.
If anything here is unclear, or you are unsure whether it applies to you, call +44 7830 704502 before your appointment and we will talk it through.
