Weight-Loss Medication Health Profile
Covers liver, kidney, thyroid, lipids, HbA1c and pancreatic enzymes. Commonly repeated at intervals while medication continues, under your prescriber's guidance.

What this tells you
The markers usually monitored by those taking weight-loss medication: blood sugar and HbA1c, liver and kidney function, cholesterol, thyroid and nutritional status. Intended as periodic monitoring alongside your prescriber, not as a substitute for their care.
Results are returned and explained privately by the clinic. Nothing is published on this website.
How to prepare
Fasting required
Fasting required. Please have nothing to eat for 8 to 12 hours before your appointment. Water is fine, and keep taking any prescribed medicines unless your doctor has told you otherwise. A morning appointment is usually easiest. Drinking water beforehand makes the sample quicker to take.
