What the appointment involves
Each appointment is booked as twenty minutes. A small sample of blood is drawn at the studio, usually from the arm, and sent to an accredited laboratory, which measures the markers in the panel you have chosen. Prices include collection, sample handling and laboratory processing.
Results come back to the clinic and are shared with you privately, with time to talk them through. Testing is for information and reassurance, not a diagnosis; where something needs medical attention we will say so and suggest you speak to your GP.
Who it suits
People who want a clearer picture without waiting for a GP appointment: checking thyroid or iron when tiredness lingers, following hormones through perimenopause or fertility planning, keeping an eye on cholesterol and blood sugar, or simply taking a yearly look at how the body is running.
No referral needed

How preparation works
Every panel page sets out exactly how to prepare. 22 of the 55 panels need fasting — nothing to eat for eight to twelve hours beforehand, water only — and those are marked clearly in the list. Some hormone panels depend on the time of day or the point in your cycle, and a few ask you to avoid heavy exercise or alcohol first.
